SPRAY DRYERS

Atomisation is the process of spray drying viscous suspensions. It consists of granulating by atomisation and drying the droplets in a hot gas atmosphere to produce dry powders or granules which can be pressed. This procedure makes it possible to accurately produce powder grades and materials.

LABORATORY SPRAY DRYER

Compact and flexible small-scale systems with a water evaporation capacity of up to 5 kg/h, specially designed to meet the needs of a laboratory environment.

The SMART Lab atomiser from DORST TECHNOLOGIES is ideally suited to the special requirements of powder development in the laboratory environment. It can be tilted 90° on its chassis so that it can be used anywhere, including in confined spaces.

The SMART Lab atomiser provides material development with a unique system solution which can deliver comparable and scalable results for larger stationary production facilities from just one liter of water-based suspension. The main area of application is in advanced technical ceramics, for silicate ceramic bodies and for hard metals. Nevertheless, the SMART laboratory dryer has also already proven its effectiveness in powder preparation of graphite, minerals, salts, polymers and certain organic substances.
